Breun and Jeremy: Fabulous Vintage Fall at the 1927 Lake Lure Inn and Spa

Breun and Jeremy had a fabulous fall vintage wedding. BANANAS. Such a fantastic weekend.

Breun contacted B&R Events and told us that Jeremy and she would be traveling quite a bit during their engagement and that they had booked the 1927 Lake Lure Inn and Spa for the big day. Bre knew that she would need a planner to keep everything uniformed and stress free.

Bre started with a gorgeous palate: plum, burnt orange, and garnet. YUM. Love it.
Bre and Jeremy decided that the mountains were the perfect backdrop for their nuptials. Since the whole bridal party would be hiding in the gazebo we did something we have never done before: tented it. Ourselves.

Then Dahlia added willow, black callas, coffee roses, and black magic roses with ivory hydrangea to the openings.

The decor for the ceremony area was simple: two extra large lanterns decorated with floral and spanish moss, per markers, and a carpet of petals. Jacob Dean Photography was there to capture the moment that the guitarist played "Something" by the Beatles and Bre walked down the aisle. Bre and Jeremy's good friend married them and the couple was showered with lavender as they came back down the aisle. Guests boarded the vintage trolley and went back to the Inn for cocktail hour. Delicious appetizers were served beside fire pits for guests to roast marshmallows for s'mores (the snack du jour during Jeremy's camp fire proposal).

Seating was in the Inn's dining room and on the veranda. Guests received recycled, eco-friendly playing cards and autumnal wine stoppers. Centerpieces were lanterns (another camping homage) and groupings of candles with pillar candles and TONS of photos of Bre and Jeremy.

Couture Cakes did their bakery magic and we flanked the cake with two photo statues of the happy couple.
Ric Larson kept the tunes coming and the dance floor full.
Everyone had the time of their lives...and partied like rock stars.

After a sparkler send off, Bre and Jeremy boarded their town car and were taken back to their mountain retreat.
B&R Events had such a fun weekend with Bre and Jeremy! What a magical weekend! Congrats!

Sam and Debbie made our wedding weekend truly magical!! They found us our vendors, gave us terrific ideas, and most importantly kept me CALM! :) We did travel quite a bit during our engagement and they took care of so many details while we were away. They also came together beautifully with Patrick and the Lake Lure Inn to make a spectacular team and pulled it all off with no issues, no drama (if there was any I never heard about it!) I have said so many times...B&R Events was the best money I spent during our engagement, worth every penny!!! Love you girls!!!
