Wedding Festivals: Fall Edition

Wedding Festivals was so much fun! It is almost like a family reunion...we see people we love and we get to catch up. We also get to meet the "new" additions. Everyone was fabulous, and we loved our two designs. The photos truly do not do it justice.

We started out with just a tent frame. Strung a combo of crystal garland and twinkle lights and accented it with yellow and white decor.

The stationary was done to show how we can design a monogram (I actually designed it the night before due to just getting back from vacation). Polka dotted china with crystal votive holders kept the look modern and fun.

Custom aisle runner that we often produce for our clients.

We love mixing textures. Textured satin with velvet and a little organza all in the same shape of yellow kept the booth consistent, but the mix of three fabrics kept it interesting. Plus the yummy leather lounge seating from Professional Party Rentals? LOVE

This gives you a better idea of the total effect from top to bottom.

Another angle. More texture with different variations of flowers accented with crystal and ostrich feathers.

More details...don't the flowers just make you drool? We also participated in the Table Top Display area. Vintage Brooch Bridal Brunch (have you tried to say it 5 times fast yet? It's quite a feat.) was influenced by our philosophy that it is sometimes best to work with what you got! Debbie collects vintage pins, so she has more than just a couple laying around.

Crinkly overlays complemented the grass bundles. The sapphire blue worked so nicely with the ivory and grass green.
Vintage mirrors, vintage plates, and a little gift for the girls? Awesome.

Thank you to all the brides that came out! Send us an email if you have not received your FREE newsletter from B&R Events. And make sure that you mention you came to the show if you contact us, because you will get $50 off any package. (You know we love a coupon or a bargain.)

Michele and Craig: Sunflowers at the Westin Poinsett

Michele and Craig had the most beautiful day for their intimate sunflower celebration. Michele is just crazy about sunflowers (and Craig), and she knew that they would be a stunning statement for her big day.
The ceremony was sweet and Erin Knight did a fantastic job playing her harp during the event. The Westin Poinsett had a fantastic menu for Michele and Craig- shrimp and grits, pasta station, antipasto platters, everything was delicious. Holly's Cakes created a delicious cake that included not only smooth butter cream icing, but also chocolate ganache. (OMG)
Dahlia created the bouquets and other personal flowers, while B&R Events created the centerpieces. Simple arrangements with polished river rocks and big open sunflowers. Michele and Craig did their first dance to their music being played on Michele's iPod on equipment rented from PSAV. Brett Seay took Michele and Craig up to the roof of the Westin to get photos with Greenville's city line in the background and then to Falls Park where Craig proposed.
Congratulations Michele and Craig!

Wedding Festivals

This Thursday is Wedding Festivals at the Carolina First Center from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m..

Our table top display is featuring Vintage Brooch Brunch and will be featuring a very vintage bridesmaid brunch (or reception- think of the bacon possibilities!). We always love the "work with what you got" concept and think it is fun to recycle and beg, borrow, and kind of steal from your family.

Come and see our Citrus Celebration Reception at our booth! Inspired by white coming back for weddings in the upcoming spring and summer and that citrus colors were ALL OVER New York fashion week. Now, Mr. Kors decided to play with orange, but we already get a ton of orange with our Clemson weddings. B&R Events is going with something a little different.

So come to the Carolina First Center! And here is a link for a coupon.

While you're there, stop by our booth and sign up for the FREE Ten Reasons to Hire Pros (everybody gets one that signs up).

Oh, and did I mention that we will be giving away a FREE 2 Hour Consultation or $100 off our Audrey or Grace Package to 2 lucky winners?

See you Thursday!
