Katie and Chris: Gator Colors at Keowee Key

Katie contacted me about her June 5th wedding a year and a half ago. She told me that it was important that their wedding be near Lake Keowee because that is where they met, they had their first date (and kiss), and Chris proposed to her there. Katie also told me that Chris is a huge Florida Gators fan, and that their summery color palette was inspired by the Gators colors. B&R Events was so happy to refer Katie and Chris to the Club at Keowee Key, which was friendly to the feel of their wedding and their budget.
Katie's mother is a talented florist and she arranged all the decor that involved white and orange gerbera daisies. The tables were also topped with blue table runners, while the ceremony aisle was lined with white Japanese lanterns on shepherd hooks wrapped in blue and white spotted ribbon. The ceremony was on the lawn of the club, which overlooked Keowee Key's golf course. Bruce Creamer with Marriages and More officiated Katie and Chris's civil ceremony and brought just the right amount of humor to reflect the couple. The Party Machine was able to provide music for the ceremony and reception, and Katie and Chris were able to recess down the aisle to "Let's Get it Started."
The Club at Keowee Key was able to prepare a custom "down home" menu with barbeque, a baked potato bar with all the fixings, corn on the cob, etc. Guests also enjoyed the stunning upside down cake that Art Eats Bakery carefully and thoughtfully put together. Fletch and Michelle of Aperture Vision Photography was there to catch all of the awesome dance moves of Katie and Chris's guests.
Katie and Chris, I feel like I have known you forever!
