Celebrity Weddings: 2009

We love gossip magazines, so we decided to write about some of the celebrity weddings of 2009.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel
First of all, how deliriously happy does Fergie look? She is so pretty, and just put her in a mermaid cut Dolce & Gabbana gown and she is exquisite. They had a more traditional Catholic ceremony and her bridesmaids wore black dresses.

Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett
Who says you can't invite your ex? Or get married at his house for that matter?
We loved the princess feel to corset gown with ballroom skirt and the lavender gowns that her bridesmaids wore. Some of the details that we loved were: the thick white ribbon on the bridesmaids bouquets, the gobos in the tent, and the thousands of white petals.

"Speidi" aka Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt
All around, Speidi should be embarrassed for themselves. But, they did have a gorgeous wedding in Pasadena in a lovely church. Heidi's two bridesmaids wore yellow gowns and Heidi's Monique Lhullier gown featured ruffles. Heidi was dripping with Neil Lane jewels, which was actually a bit much. She should have put all the accessories on, and then taken one off. (Thank you Coco Chanel.) They had two hundred guests at the wedding, and an intimate reception. Also tacky. Oh well.

Jaime Pressly and Samran Singh
Jaime and Samran (an entertainment lawyer) got married at Dick Clark's mansion in Malibu. We love that her gown had straps and was heavily beaded and her birdcage veil with vintage appliques. Jaime's two year old son was the ring bearer and their recessional was to "At Last" by Etta James.

Khloe Khardashian and Lamar Odom

Look at the ruched Vera Wang mermaid dress featuring ruffles and a beaded lilac sash. ::Sigh:: Awesome. We also loved that Khloe let her bridesmaids wear various shades of purple and different styles. Their cake was monstrous, taller than her basketball player husband, and was white with black damask and lilac colored roses. Their reception had arrangements in all different shaped glass vases with white flowers.
